How fresh is your milk?  

We receive it direct from the dairy at the end of each processing day and maintained at a
temperature between 32 and 36 degrees F.  Our milk is not exposed to fluorescent light, so you
will not experience the off-taste of milk that you buy in the store.  Our sell-by dates typically
range from 13 to 16 days from the date you receive it.

How do I begin receiving delivery?

We would like you to call us to start your service. There are several reasons for this: First, we
want to speak to you personally.  Our service, designed for efficiency and convenience, is run by
people who care about you. Second, we want you to know there is help available by phone if you
ever need it. Third, we want to make sure the information we have on file - everything from
preferred location for your cooler to the size and quantity of your ordered items - is accurate.
Having new customers phone in at their convenience is a simple, quick, and easy way to handle
all three.


How often can I get milk delivered?

Your milkman will typically deliver to you once a week.  Under certain circumstances, twice a week
delivery may be possible.


How will my milkman know what to deliver to my home each delivery?

Most customers have a regular standing order that is brought to them each delivery. If you need
to change or add to your order, you can either email or call us in advance or leave a note for the
milkman in your dairy box.


What is a standing order?

A standing order is an order you do not intend to change from week to week.  The products
remain the same, as do the size or amounts of each. Standing orders can be set up and
delivered as originally scheduled until the standing order is changed or stopped.  Standing
orders can be changed at any time.  Temporary exceptions can easily be made as well.


How can I change my order?

Just call our office, send an email message, or simply leave a note in your dairy box prior to the
delivery day.  Messages can be left 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Changes to orders can
be made up until noon the day before your next delivery.

When contacting us by means other than direct conversation, please include with your changed
order your name, address, delivery day, and an indication whether this is a one-time or a
permanent change to your standing order.

How do I order extra products?

Your milkman can supply you with order slips that list most of the items we carry. You can either
leave the slip in your dairy box or call ahead to ensure that your milkman will have the extra
items for you.


What if I do not need a full standing order on a particular delivery day?

Simply leave a note in your dairy box priory to delivery, or call us in advance.


Is there a minimum order or delivery charge?

There is a two item minimum.   


Do I have to sign any contracts?

No, there are no contracts to sign.  


Must I take delivery for a minimum period of time?

No, there is no specified period of time you must receive delivery.  Stop our service whenever
you want.


Where will my milkman leave my milk?

Your milkman will put your delivery inside your insulated cooler when he delivers to your home.
Your insulated cooler can be placed anywhere you want – front door, back door, or wherever is
best for you. Just let us know your preference. You do not need to be home or awake when he
delivers.


Why a Dairy Box?

An insulated dairy box is necessary to protect the quality of our products from the effects of
sunlight and temperature.  If you do not have one, you can purchase one from us.

We offer a classic insulated metal porch box for the purchase price of $40.  We also have a
plastic dairy cooler for the purchase price of $24.     


What if I have questions or problems with my delivery?

Please call our office when you notice a problem, or the wrong order. We also would be pleased
to answer any questions you may have.


What happens if I go on vacation or will be out of town?

Just call or email.  Let us know what days you will not require delivery and when you would like to
resume delivery.  


What happens when my delivery day is a holiday?

Unless you receive a notice from the milkman prior to the holiday, you can expect to receive your
regular order on that holiday. The only exception is that we do not deliver on Thanksgiving and
Christmas.  If you plan to be away for a particular holiday, please follow the vacation procedure.


How do I pay?

The milkman will leave an invoice in your dairy box the first delivery of each month for deliveries
received the previous month.  Balances are due immediately.

For your convenience, you may choose from either of the following payment options:

  • Pay by Check – Simply send us your payment via US Mail along with your invoice stub, or
    leave your check in the dairy box for pickup on your next scheduled delivery day.

  • Charge your Visa or MasterCardJust call us at (814) 234-2230 to arrange for your
    payment to be automatically charged to your credit card.
